ZIPIT signs distribution agreement with WHSmith

ZIPIT has signed a distribution agreement with WHSmith travel retail stores. The agreement, which was signed between the Israeli design house, ZIPIT and WHSmith Travel, will allow ZIPIT to double its growing presence in Airport stores and expand into new locations such as Rome, Dublin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Dusseldorf, Menorca, Alicante, Murcia and Tenerife.

“Up until the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic we were enjoying double digit growth in the travel retail channel. This exciting new partnership is an investment of both companies in the future and we are certain that it will allow us to fuel our growth and expansion. We are really thrilled to be joining WHSmith Travel stores, and believe that the match is perfect” says Itamar Cohen, ZIPIT CEO.

ZIPIT will be entering WHSmith airport stores with dedicated point of sale displays full of whimsical yet practical pouches that are ideal storage solutions for just about anything one may need.

“Experience has proven that ZIPIT is a great spontaneous gift choice for many travelers and we are excited to welcome them into our portfolio of leading brands. We are looking forward to growing this partnership and expanding into more airport locations in the future” Says William Ufland Senior Buyer – International at WHSmith.

Both companies are now invested in setting up ZIPIT new displays in the various locations and trusting in the quick recovery of the travel industry as the world learns to live with Covid-19.
