Victor Stationery Appoints Richard Smithers As Managing Director

Richard has spent 28 years in the office products and paper converting industry.

Victor Stationery is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Smithers as managing director, effective immediately. Richard’s promotion follows a successful period as sales director at Victor Stationery.

Richard is a seasoned sales director with an impressive career spanning over 28 years in the office products and paper converting Industry. His comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain and extensive experience in diverse roles from sales positions as a dealer principal, wholesale and manufacturing provides him with a unique and well-rounded perspective of the industry.

Beginning his career at the dealer level, Richard quickly advanced through various sales roles, consistently demonstrating exceptional sales acumen and leadership capabilities. His notable track record led him to join Spicers in 2013, where he was promoted to head of sales. In this role, he collaborated with the company’s largest dealers to achieve ambitious business plans and engaged in multimillion-pound contractual negotiations.
