Stationery Supplies Proudly Shows Off The Art File Notebooks

National Stationery Week ambassador and retailer, Sarah Laker gives the notebooks that she was consulted on pride of place in her window display.

When The Art File wanted to expand its stationery range, it went to NSW ambassador, retailer, and self-confessed notebook geek, Sarah Laker to make sure the company’s plans for its latest products met her exacting requirements.

Ged and James Mace asked to meet with me so they could ask what would make me go ‘wow’ when I picked up a notebook,” says Sarah. “But I’m not sure they were expecting me to talk solidly for 20 minutes on one of my favourite topics!”

Highlights of a notebook for Sarah include: hardback, great paper, pen loop, lie flat, back pocket, rounded corners, elastic closure, ribbon markers and a great design. “And the new range from The Art File has it all!” enthuses Sarah.

The notebooks are now in the window of Sarah’s Stationery Supplies shops in Marple and Wilmslow and Sarah says: “The notebooks are selling really well, my customers love that I was consulted over the features.”

It’s not just Sarah’s customers who love the notebooks, Richard Pass, sales agent in the north of England has also had lots of positive comments from retailers who like the fact a fellow retailer was consulted. “The Art File notebooks have everything you could ever need in a notebook: elastic closure, two ribbons, an internal pocket, special birthdays and measurements on the last page, each page marked to be dated, even a name space on the front page. The Art File cleverly consulted with an industry leading retailer to ensure they ticked all the boxes.”

The Art File’s major stationery launch has been reinforced by the company getting on board for the first time as a National Stationery Week countdown week sponsor. The Art File’s sales and marketing manager James Mace commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring the National Stationery Week campaign this year. We feel it’s incredibly important to help in spreading the importance of the written word on greeting cards, of course, and equally as importantly on stationery as well, so it’s great to be involved.”
