Stationery House Opens New Shop In North Somerset

The popular Somerset retailer has relocated its store in Wrington to larger premises in Winscombe, North Somerset.

Award-winning Stationery House continues to grow, with the move of its Wrington store to a larger unit in the village of Winscombe. Winscombe Stationery and Cards is the third store in owner, Malcolm Adams’ retail estate, joining the original outlet in Somerton and the Clevedon store which opened in 2021.

“In two weeks we managed to complete the move, which was an amazing team effort, opening Winscombe on Saturday 1 February,” says Malcolm. “We had a good opening with customers waiting for us to open at 9.00am. The comments and appreciation of us opening the store has been humbling. A big thank you to Rosie Trow who planned and set up an eye-catching Glick giftwrap display.”

The first week’s trade was well above expectations according to Malcolm who commented: “There is certainly a customer demand for traditional stationery shops.”

The new shop stocks a good range of greeting cards, gift wrap, stationery, artist materials, jigsaws, pens, children’s books, toys and a small gift offering.
