Stationers Hall Rocks For Jakar’s 75th Anniversary

One of the highlights of this year’s celebrations at Jakar International for its 75th anniversary was an industry party on Friday 4 October for family, customers, suppliers and friends at Stationers’ Hall in London.

The Hall literally rocked to the sounds of the ‘50s and 60s and a live band following a sparkling reception and magnificent dinner. William Caxton would have loved it!

Jakar International was founded in 1949 by managing director, Paul Sacki’s grandmother, Lydia Sacki and has represented Swiss pencil and pen supplier Caran d’Ache among other brands in the UK and Ireland for over 60 years.

Both Paul and Caran d’Ache ceo Carole Hubscher-Clements spoke warmly of each other and their relationship, and the growth of the business during this time as driving forces in the burgeoning stationery, art and craft supplies market.
