The FriXion Ball+ combines erasable technology with eco-friendly manufacturing processes and represents a pivotal step forward in Pilot’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
At the heart of the FriXion Ball+ is Pilot’s unwavering commitment to eco-innovation. The pen is manufactured at Pilot’s European factory in Allonzier-la-Caille, France, using sustainable methods and materials. In a groundbreaking achievement, over 82% of the pen’s plastic components are sourced from recycled materials. Additionally, the pen is fully refillable, allowing users to extend the product’s lifespan and reduce waste. By refilling the FriXion Ball+ just three times, consumers can reduce the carbon footprint of their writing by an impressive 53% compared to purchasing four separate pens.
“The FriXion Ball+ is more than just a writing tool; it’s a symbol of Pilot’s dedication to pioneering sustainable practices in the stationery industry,” says Adam Smith, marketing manager for the UK. “This innovation reflects Pilot’s mission to deliver products that enhance the writing experience while respecting the planet. By choosing the FriXion Ball+, consumers not only gain access to advanced erasable technology but also contribute to a more sustainable future.”
The FriXion Ball+ will be available starting January 2025.
