The gold medal from EcoVadis recognises Pilot’s commitment to the environment, social and human rights, ethics, and responsible purchasing.
EcoVadis is a global corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance assessment platform that rates companies on their sustainable practices in four areas: environment, social and human rights, ethics, and responsible purchasing. With more than 130,000 companies evaluated across 200 industries and 180 countries, achieving gold status is a significant distinction that underscores Pilot’s commitments.
Pilot was awarded the EcoVadis gold medal with an overall score of 76/100, an impressive increase of +11 points since the last evaluation.
“This recognition is not only a milestone for our organisation but also a testimony to our unwavering commitment to sustainability,” commented Mr Yoshio Wada, ceo, Pilot Corporation of Europe. “It is a significant step forward, yet it is only the beginning of our long-term journey to strengthen our sustainability practices. The challenges and opportunities in the CSR domain are vast, and we remain committed to driving positive change.”
Pilot Corporation of Europe now ranks among the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past year. This success is the result of a collective work involving most of the Pilot teams for many years.
