Showroom opened on Friday 16 August at the company’s head office, factory and warehouse in Shropshire.
The new showroom space celebrates Manuscript’s long family history in the industry while also offering dedicated space to showcase the key products from its brand portfolio. The event was for all Manuscript staff, their families, suppliers, local professionals and former staff members.
Three key customers also attended the celebration: Ryman, Cult Pens and Pilotfish. The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire was also there. It was a day of celebrations with sunshine, BBQ food and even a caricaturist on hand for those brave enough to be drawn.
Manuscript managing director, Charlie Stockbridge, addressed those at the event, giving “a word of thanks to my colleagues, Manuscript customers and all those that have supported the family business over the years.” As the 5th consecutive generation to lead the company Charlie was delighted to also have his children, and potential 6th generation, there to share the occasion, “although as they are only two and four years old there is of course no pressure for succession just yet!”
