Popular stationery retailer wins Best Independent Retailer in the Stray Ferret Business Awards 2025.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards celebrate the brightest and best businesses in the Harrogate district and are organised by the Stray Ferret, a local digital news service across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon , Boroughbridge, Pateley Bridge and Masham.
At the awards ceremony last Thursday (13 March), Jespers of Harrogate walked away with the Best Independent Retailer award. Manager, Lynn Cummings was over the moon with the recognition and said: “Jespers of Harrogate has been trading since 1901 and it is wonderful that we have received this recognition for all the hard work the directors and Jespers team put into the business. We certainly have had some interesting and challenging times over the last few years but there is nothing like working for an independent retailer.
“Thank you to our customers for making 2024 an amazing year at Jespers. And thank you to the Stray Ferret for a lovely evening and for this fantastic award, which is now proudly displayed in our window for everyone to see.”
