Gift Of The Year returns

The Giftware Association (GA) has announced the Gift of the Year 2021 competition will be launching next week, alongside a brand new competition system. The new website will launch on the 1st September and will be open for entries on the same day.

The visually stunning new website will enable a more user-friendly experience for entering the competition, as well as being a sourcing guide for buyers and retailers as they view the winning products from previous years. This will make the competition a huge marketing opportunity to showcase products, especially with a new dedicated blog sharing entrants’ interviews, and competition news all in one place.

Gift of the Year 2021 will also feature exciting new categories welcoming International, Own Label, Tech and Gadgets and the My Gift of All Time categories, alongside the usual categories.

Sarah Ward, CEO of the Giftware Association says “We are incredibly excited about this year’s competition and after the year we have had, we want it to be the best yet and really show off the creativity and innovation of our industry, that has been somewhat suppressed over the last few months. The competition needed to grow and the new website will allow us to develop new areas of the competition for the benefit of those that enter.”

Chris Workman, PR & Marketing Manager of The GA states “The new website was much needed in terms of user experience for the entrants as well as the judges. The judges will now be able to favourite products directly from the judging process and entrants will be able to upload more images, videos and links furthering their opportunities with the retailers and buyers that judge the competition.”

The awards also welcoming back sponsors Spring and Autumn Fair and Pressloft. The Gift of the Year 2021 competition and the new website are launching on 1st September, visit www.giftoftheyear.co.uk to find out more.
