Exhibitors at this year’s Creativeworld in Frankfurt, which was at the end of January, have donated high-quality trade fair samples from their craft and creative product ranges to the Frankfurt Children’s Office. This will provide around 4000 children in more than 60 children’s and young people’s centres in the Rhine-Main region with brushes, paints, modelling clay and pens as well as other materials for free.
With this donation, Messe Frankfurt and the exhibitors are committed to social participation and creative support for children in the region. The campaign builds a bridge between the international trade fair for hobby, craft and artists’ supplies and the local community of creative users.
“With the donations from our Creativeworld exhibitors, we enable children to depict their world and communicate where words are lacking,” explains Eva Olbrich, director of Creativeworld.
Madeleine Michaelis, project manager of the Frankfurt Children’s Office, adds: “Everything that is donated goes will be used, without exception. Organisations often don’t have the budget to buy creative materials, as these are expensive. Messe Frankfurt provides valuable support here, so a big thank you for that!”
