Craft Buddy has concluded a strong year with a significant accolade, winning the Home & Living Growth Award at the inaugural UK & Ireland TikTok Shop Awards.
The ceremony – held last week in London – celebrated the best in business innovation on TikTok Shop, with Craft Buddy’s success attributed to its remarkable sales growth since launching its TikTok Shop account earlier this year.
The award was received by Craft Buddy’s director Dino Wadhwani, along with head of marketing OraRuth Rother and e-commerce manager, Matt Jennings. It was presented by Jan Wilk, head of operations at TikTok Shop UK. The milestone victory marks the 20th award for Craft Buddy in 2024, underscoring a year of groundbreaking achievements.
“This award is a testament to the incredible effort of our team and the engagement from our TikTok Shop community,” commented Gary Wadhwani, director at Craft Buddy. “To end 2024 with this recognition is beyond our expectations and further fuels our excitement for what’s ahead in 2025.”
The year’s award-winning streak began with a Hero Toys Award in January at London Toy Fair for Series 3 of the Crystal Art Buddies range. Additional highlights include being a first-time finalist at The Licensing Awards 2024, consumer wins from Dadsnet and Made For Mums, plus an impressive 13 BlogOn Awards at the two 2024 events.
Beyond awards, 2024 saw Craft Buddy continuing to scale up its operation with 12 new hires at its UK Head Office, and opening 60+ new trading accounts, including The Entertainer, Asda, and Ryman. Its Crystal Art collections, particularly Series 3 & 4 Crystal Art Buddies and the Disney100 Crystal Art Sticker Album, achieved strong global sales, with the limited edition Disney celebratory range surpassing 20 million units worldwide.
Craft Buddy is now poised for an exciting 2025, kicking off the year by attending key trade shows including London Toy Fair, Spielwarenmesse and Creative World Frankfurt, where it will debut four new product lines that will launch throughout spring.
