Swizzels Gets Crafty With RMS International

Swizzels, the iconic British confectionery brand, welcomes RMS International, a global leader in the design and development of innovative toys, stationery, and arts and crafts products, as the licensee for arts and crafts.

The agreement extends across all of the Swizzels favourites including Love Hearts, Refreshers, Drumstick Lollies, Rainbow Drops, Double Lollies, Parma Violets, Squashies, Fizzers and Fruity Pops.

RMS Internation will be bringing Swizzels’ nostalgic and playful brands to life through a collection of products that includes scented and unscented stationery, inflatables, crayons, markers and much more. The new range will launch in October through major retailers including The Entertainer and B&M.

“Swizzels is a brand that has brought joy to millions for decades, and we are thrilled to be working with them. We are excited to develop products that capture the essence of their iconic sweets and offer a range of creative play products for children of all ages,” says Rebecca Law, head of licensing, RMS International.

The deal was brokered by Blonde Sheep Licensing, and founder and ceo, Natasha Dyson comments: “RMS International are fast moving and innovative company. We’ve loved working with them on developing this exciting range of products.”

Swizzels is the UK’s largest family-owned independent sugar confectionery business, and one of the few confectionery companies to still manufacture sweets in the UK. With a history that spans almost 100 years, Swizzels continues to innovate while staying true to its heritage of creating fun, iconic sweets that are loved by all generations.
