Sambro Extends Back To School Licensed Offering

Global toy supplier, Sambro International, has elevated its back-to-school collections for 2024 with a wide range of stationery products and back to school backpacks across popular TV and film licences, helping kids bring learning to life with a little help from some of their favourite characters.

With an already impressive offering in the arts and crafts, stationery, collectables and novelty spaces, Sambro has expanded its portfolio with a whole host of back-to-school licensed items, fast becoming a ‘go-to’ supplier for term-time essentials.

For 2024, Sambro has taken its first step into the bags category with its brand-new, vibrant and fun backpacks available across a handful of licenses including PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with other popular girls’ licences to be announced later this year.

The range also features stylish accessories including a line of plush bag clips, which can be added to any schoolbag, allowing kids to add their own sense of style to boring school wear.

When it comes to stationery, Sambro’s own IP novelty collectables Puzzle Palz remain a best-seller for back-to-school retailers. The range of 3D jigsaw puzzle erasers are available in over 16 popular franchises such as SpongeBob, TMNT and more, plus new Universal licenses like Gabby’s Dollhouse, which has already sold over 500,000 units since launching this year.

Other hit stationery items include Sambro’s Bops n Tops collectable character stationery pencil toppers and stampers, perfect for adding a bit of fun to homework time.

New for 2024 are the Surprise Activity Craft Sets, available in 6 licenses, offering hours of creative fun and perfect for back-to-school essentials or great as a gift. Each set contains a journal, unlocked with a hidden key revealing secret stationery and craft items such as: pens, stamps, crayons, stickers, paints and scratch art tools, to help get creativity flowing.

Looking forward to the much-anticipated launch of Moana 2, Sambro has developed an exclusive range of stationery products, including pens, pencil cases and crafting sets.

Playground crazes are predicted to be big for back-to-school and Sambro has added to its line of novelty ranges, with products including slap bands, featuring a character maze, light up yoyos plus magic springs, puzzle cubes, and much more all available across a range of licenses.

Clare Rix, Sambro’s Brand and Licensing Director said: “A large part of our success is due to the amazing relationships we have with our licensors. We pride ourselves on having close working relations with each and every one to ensure we are developing ‘best in class’ licensed designs for children globally.

“We’re very proud of our ever growing back-to-school portfolio, particularly with our new apparel range which opens a new market segment for Sambro growth, and we aim to provide retailers with the best products, that meet consumer demand, as well as offer a point of difference.”
