Legami Under The Sea Is A Sell Out

The latest erasable pen collection from Legami is selling fast, with many retailers selling out and awaiting for the next order.

The Legami erasable pen craze shows no sign of slowing down. If anything, the demand for these cute pens seems to be getting even greater, with the latest release – Under the Sea – selling out for many retailers and sets of the three pens appearing on online marketplaces like eBay for £20 – £25 (normal retail £6).

Creative Cove’s stock arrived beginning of June, with owner Sandra Jervis telling followers on social media: “don’t stay away if you’re local, these are flying out already!” Her initial stock sold out and she is waiting for another delivery.

The Under the Sea set is out of stock for many online retailers as well, with new stock expected later in July.

Hayley White, marketing manager for Stone Marketing, the distributor of Legami in the UK said: “The global demand for Legami Erasable Pens has been unprecedented and it’s been amazing to watch the trend amongst kids to collect them all. It’s generated a significant hype in the UK market.”

As well as the Under the Sea set, many indie retailers have taken delivery of the Legami back-to-school bus display unit, stocked with a h uge range of Legami stationery.

Sally Stephenson, owner of the The Pencil Case in Cowbridge said: “The stand is great, customers like seeing Legami stock on a branded display in the middle of the shop floor. Because we have so many regular Legami buyers, they like to know what’s new, so the stand is helping to showcase all the new lines.”
