Studio Pens Takes On Distribution Of Luxury French Soap

Studio Pens’ latest addition to its product range is not another writing instrument, but Marius Fabre, a Marseille soap for the body, laundry and home.

Based in Salon de Provence, Marius Fabre are makers of traditional Marseille soap for the body and laundry, as well as cleaning products for the home. The soap contains no colourings and no synthetic additives. It is free of petroleum-based products and animal fats, unlike most other soaps and shower gels on the market.

Although this brand has nothing to do with stationery, when Studio Pens director, Nikki Devine saw it in passing at Ambiente in Frankfurt back in January, she recognised it and was excited by the quality of the products, the history of the brand, the wide variety of uses of the products, the sustainable method of production and the brand’s environmental credentials. So, after some careful thought and a visit to the factory in Provence in April, Studio Pens have now welcomed Marius Fabre to its stable of brands.

Studio Pens will be exhibiting Marius Fabre for the first time at the Home and Gift Buyers Festival this July. Nikki said: “We are the exclusive UK distributor for well-loved German pen brand Kaweco, as well Esterbrook pens and German pen components business Schmidt Technology. Although Marius Fabre represents something of a departure from the pen world, Marius Fabre complements Kaweco well. The two brands share an overlapping target retailer market and already have retailers in common.

“Marius Fabre’s range includes traditional Marseille soap, scented soaps, liquid soaps, soap flakes, a beautiful range of accessories and black soap, which is a miracle product that cleans anything, including your own body, clothes, dogs, BBQs, cars and even the kitchen floor!”
